Life at DSPI

You will attend lectures, seminars, workshops and supervision sessions, depending on your study. 

You will be assigned a supervisor who will provide one-to-one supervision. 

You will also be supported by the Course Director and Director of Graduate Studies, and the course administration team.

DSPI’s main departmental building is Barnett House, 32 Wellington Square.

At DSPI, your feedback is welcomed. 

You will be able to comment regularly about our lectures, your course and your experience of studying at DSPI.

You can raise any views and concerns through the department’s Graduate Joint Consultative Committee. The committee has student representatives who consult with the student bodt to identify any issues you may have. 

There is also a wider discussion forum for the Social Science Division, made up of student representatives from the various faculties. DSPI representatives are appointed by the students each year. If you raised an issue with this body, it will be reported to DSPI’s Graduate Studies Committee.
