Wange is pursuing an MSc in Evidence-based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. Her research interests focus on healthy ageing and the accessibility of rare disease diagnosis and treatment, with a long-term goal of advancing chronic disease management policies to promote healthier ageing trajectories, particularly for individuals with rare diseases. For her MSc thesis, she will examine how ageing intensifies the challenges of managing rare diseases. Through this work, she seeks to explore health inequities affecting vulnerable sub-groups in ageing societies and advocate for more inclusive health policies and frameworks.
Before joining DSPI, Wange earned a BA in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she specialised in political and medical anthropology. Although her disciplinary focus shifted (or broadened to be accurate) over time, she has always had a soft spot for Applied Archaeology - a field she ultimately decided not to pursue, in part due to a personal apprehension regarding the potential for otherworldly encounters.
