MSc Student, Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation
Tito (He/him) is an MSc Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation student at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford. He is interested in understanding the effects of conditional cash transfers on multidimensional poverty indicators and their long-term impact on the well-being of low-income households.
He is a Chevening and JuventudEsGTO scholar with a bachelor's degree in political science and public administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. His professional experience includes six years of work as a consultant in a Mexican firm specialising in social policy evaluation, implementation of cash transfer programmes, political campaigns and the impact evaluation of mega infrastructure energy projects such as eolic parks and pipelines. He was a research assistant on energy and public policy issues at BANOBRAS, Mexico.
Before enrolling at Oxford, he served as a Deputy Director at the Mexican Secretariat of Home Affairs in the Mexican Federal Government.
