Takhona is a Rhodes Scholar from the Kingdom of Eswatini.

She obtained an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology from Oxford University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She is interested in global health, health policy, and the implications of social policy on public health.
