Qing Han is a Research Officer in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford, working with Dr Jamie Lachman as part of a research team on parenting interventions. Qing's current work is data analysis of multiple research studies examining the implementation, effectiveness, and scale-up of in-person and digital parenting interventions in low- and middle-income countries. She is interested in applying state-of-the-art statistical methods to real-world data and studies of social impact and significance.
Before joining the department, Qing has research experience in interdisciplinary experimental studies and large-scale surveys. During her PhD at the University of Bristol, she focused on human decision making and Bayesian modelling. She also holds a MSc degree in Applied Psychology and a BSc degree in Medicine. Qing has been involved in COVID-19 research and is a collaborator and statistician in PsyCorona project, a longitudinal international survey focused on the psychological and behavioural responses to COVID-19.
