Luisa is a public policy specialist with a passion for data science and human development. She has a degree in Public Administration and a specialization in Statistics.

She is currently studying for a master's degree in public policy evaluation at the University of Oxford, where she is also a member and full scholarship holder of the Weidenfeld-Hoffman Scholarship, which brings together transformational leaders from emerging countries.

During her six-year career in public service and private sector, Luísa worked to guarantee access to education for 2 million public school students, carried out research to improve the financial services of the largest digital bank in Latin America, used machine learning to identify families with housing vulnerabilities in the country and founded the Data Office - a project that taught data science to more than 200 civil servants.

After completing her master's degree at Oxford, she plans to lead an Evidence Centre in the Brazilian government, where she will connect academic researchers with policymakers, helping them to design more effective, evidence-based public policies.
