Elaine Chase is Professor of Education, Wellbeing and International Development at the Institute of Education, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society. Elaine’s teaching, research and writing explore the sociological dimensions of health, wellbeing and rights of individuals and communities most likely to experience marginalisation and exclusion, focusing on related policy implications. Much of Elaine’s work in the UK and internationally is concerned with the wellbeing of children, young people and families in contexts of poverty, migration, displacement and conflict .
