I am a DPhil student in Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. I am interested in understanding the impacts of climate change on social outcomes. My current research is exploring the role of droughts on HIV-risk outcomes for adolescents and young people in sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, my research focused on synthesizing evidence on the effect of climate-related anticipatory cash transfers on household food security and child nutrition in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs).
Prior to undertaking the DPhil, I completed the MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation (with Distinction) from University of Oxford, and Bachelors in Social Work (with Distinction) from University of Zambia.
I serve as a Research Assistant at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention (DSPI), supporting research on a series of linked studies focused on identifying effective interventions for vulnerable adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa.
