Ben is a postdoctoral researcher, his research focuses on the privatisation of health and social care services. Ben's thesis evaluates NHS privatisation in England since 2010, detailing the scale of for-profit delivery of healthcare and the impacts on health outcomes. Ben's broader research interests include social care provision, health policy and quantitative methods.
Previously, Ben was a Research Assistant at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy, Cambridge University, where he led the Institute's 'Townscapes Project'. During his time at Cambridge Ben co-authored a number of policy reports assessing the welfare of Britain's towns. Ben holds an MSc in Social Policy (Research) from the London School of Economics and a BA in Politics and Modern History from the University of Manchester.
