Anjali graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an academic background in political science, focused on the politics of harm reduction, drug policy, and mass incarceration.
Previous research projects have focused on integrating PrEP in substance use disorder treatment settings, the surveillance-related harms and punitiveness that can exist in arrest and prosecution diversion programs, and relationships between Child Protective Services and the U.S. sexually transmitted infection epidemic.
Anjali is currently researching political and institutional factors surrounding overdose prevention centres in the UK.
