Ye Eun is a DPhil student in Social Policy and a member of Green Templeton College. Her research will focus on exploring the role of ideas and discourse in the development of social protection in Indonesia, under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Surender.
She has obtained a Master of Public Policy from Seoul National University and a dual bachelor's degree in Social Work and Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University in South Korea. She has also worked as an assistant researcher at the Global Development Institute for Public Affairs (GDI) (formerly the Asia Development Institute), a research institute at the Seoul National University. Other experiences include supporting research and evaluation on international development projects of government agencies and assisting the work of development loan projects in developing countries, including fieldwork in Hanoi. She speaks Korean, Indonesian, and English.
