Janina Steinert

Janina Steinert is an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, Technical University of Munich. She has completed her DPhil at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, University of Oxford, in 2018. Janina's research interest lies primarily in the fields of global health and development economics and research topics include intimate partner violence, poverty alleviation, and research ethics. Janina uses a range of methods in her research, including randomised controlled trials (India and South Africa), systematic reviews and meta-analyses, lab-in-the-field experiments (India), survey experiments (Europe), and mixed-methods and qualitative approaches (India and Zambia).
